Why someone learn Spanish?

I consider the first time I visited Mexico. It is a attractive country. I was young so naturally, I went with my parents. None of us could speak more than a few words of Spanish. We had a indistinct idea of how the Mexican money worked, but we were clueless when it came to how much to pay public at restaurants and the shops. Let’s just say it was an appealing practice (and I’m sure we were overcharge a number of times).
Oftentimes, it’s when you have to go without it that you understand how important message truly is. For example, it’s not fun listening to a group of people talk about the latest widget or tool when you know completely nothing about it. You sure can’t add anything to the conversation.
And just listening in on a topic you know nothing about will take a toll on you since you won’t be able to tell to the group’s conversation. (Think about the last time you had to listen to a group of guys talk about football ladies, or for the men, maybe a conversation related to make-up).
It’s even worse to be bordered by a group of people who are speaking an completely different language. Just think about it, you may not even be able to translate what the topic of conversation is!
In addition to the embarrassing moments, not being able to speak the language of the people around you can be a bit worrisome. Imagine if you were lost … or had a disaster. Not being able to match would only add to the shock.
Like everyone else, you feel alone and a little susceptible when you can’t fast yourself to others.
That’s why if you are planning a holiday to a foreign, Spanish speaking country or have Spanish speaking friends, you may want to at least learn conversational Spanish. Otherwise, you may be left out in the cold, so to speak.
